Sunrise Village is an example of HOSWWA’S strong commitment to supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness. HOSWWA forged a partnership with Longview Presbyterian Church, which led to the donation of land where Sunrise Village is located. The donation was made with the specific vision of creating housing opportunities for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Sunrise Village underscores the impact a collaborative effort can have to transform underutilized land into stable, supportive housing that strengthens the community and expands access to affordable homes.
