Introduction
This Toolbox has been assembled by Community Frameworks through funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban and Development (HUD) to supplement a series of workshops held in the Summer of 2006 in Idaho (also sponsored by HUD) regarding the development of affordable housing in high-cost areas and the creation of Community Land Trusts.
While the Toolbox is specifically designed for Idaho, most of the information in the Toolbox will pertain to all affordable housing developers seeking ways to address the challenges of development in today’s high-cost markets.
