Adaptive Re-Use
In many communities, the re-use or redevelopment of existing buildings for affordable housing is an attractive and economical choice. Across the nation old commercial, educational and industrial buildings are being saved from the wrecking ball and being put to creative affordable housing use. As suitable building sites become even more scarce, such conversions are becoming viable options.
