SHOP Authorizing Statute
Section 11 of the Housing Opportunity Program Extension Act of 1996, as amended (42USC12805) HUD has not promulgated regulations governing the SHOP program. In addition to annual Notices of Funds Availability (NOFA's), the statue authorizing the program, as amended, provides the basis for administration of the program and use of SHOP funds by both intermediaries like Community Frameworks and local organizations. click here
