Community Frameworks provides housing development and capacity building services through four separate program areas or Lines of Business. We group these Lines of Business into two major categories.
Direct Development Initiatives are direct bricks and mortar development and production activities that occur on the ground in the communities where we have offices or within the neighborhoods of our clients. The two lines of business in this group are:
HomeStarts - produces affordable homes in the vicinity of our office locations for low income households to purchase.
Development Services - develops affordable housing for organizational clients in the locations they serve.
Capacity Building Initiatives supplies capacity building services and resources to client and affiliate organizations throughout our four-state territory to enhance their abilities to do their own work. The lines of business furnishing these services are:
SHOP Program - provides HUD pass-through grant funds and technical assistance to affiliated homeownership programs.
Technical Assistance - offers a myriad of organizational and housing development services and training to improve or enhance the ability of local players to produce and manage affordable housing.
