Community Frameworks became thirty-three years old in 2007. We are a sizable non-profit organization with two offices and a staff of 25. We have operated successfully for more than three decades because we offer programs and services that people need. During our years of operation, we have achieved an impressive list of housing development goals.

As of the end of our 2005-2006 fiscal year our production accomplishments include:

  • Development or preservation of
      543 low income rental units and
      128 shelter beds for our clients,
      with another 237 units in
      development.

Northpointe Commons Homeowner and Friends
in Spokane, WA

  • Construction of 118 single family detached homes and 36 condos so that first time
      homebuyers who contribute sweat equity during construction can attain
      homeownership.

• Administration of housing rehab programs, which rehabilitated 2891 owner-
occupied homes and 1822 rental units.

  • Distribution of $21,087,487 in HUD SHOP (Self Help Homeownership Program)
      funds by means of 119 loans to 40 affiliate homeownership programs. Affiliate
      organizations have applied these funds to help 1,594 families achieve
      homeownership.
